The Experts Agree
As may of you know, I'm finishing up my graduate work to get my doctorate degree in nursing. As a nurse practitioner, one of my primary objectives is to help my patients be healthy today and for the rest of their lives. With the incidence of chronic illnesses (such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, arthritis, IBS, GERD etc) skyrocketing, I've been spending the last 10 years researching how to help my patients prevent and reverse chronic illnesses.
I've studied hundreds of scientific research papers, read dozens of medical text books, collected the advice of prominent doctors and health practitioners in the industry AND reversed my own chronic illnesses by applying the principles I learned to my own body.

In all of my years of research, most sources come to the same conclusion. (Drumroll.........) 85-90% of chronic illness is the result of lifestyle choices. Now, I know this is no shocking revelation for many of you, BUT the question I get the most is HOW do I do this?
I Had The Same Question!
From the time I was 8 years old unitl I was in my early 30's I suffered from multiple chronic illnesses. After trying dozens of doctors, drugs, surgeries, and alternative treatments, I had a doctor tell me that if I wanted to feel good, I needed to change my diet. He told me that I needed to stop eating dairy, wheat, sugar, chemicals, and processed oils. Then he told me that the bulk of my diet needed to come from fruits and vegetables. I remember sitting in his office with my mom crying my eyes out. I was sure that if I got rid of all those offending foods and only ate vegetables that I would die of starvation. To make matters worse, all the vegetables I had eaten while growing up were bland and tasteless and I didn't enjoy eating them.
I Set Out On a Quest
I was committed to healing my body, so I sutdied all the "health diets" out there. Over the years, I created a nutrition plan that is:
